Ronald Wayne LeMaster, 91, of Bunker Hill passed away October 1, 2025 at 8:23pm at Dukes Memorial Hospital in Peru.

He was born August 27, 1934 to Paul and Eloise (Sprinkle) LeMaster. He married Norma Eileen Personett August 26, 1956. They were married 67 years until Norma passed away January 15, 2024.

Ronald worked side by side with his wife Norma operating LeMaster Florist and Greenhouse. Ronald started the greenhouse at age 16 along with his grandmother Ollie LeMaster. All together Ronald ran the greenhouse for 71 years.

Ronald and Norma both played the organ and piano together for many years at Loree Brethren Church, Bunker Hill. He also played the organ for Kokomo First Church of the Nazarene for many years. Ronald played the organ for different quartets, weddings, funerals and for graduations at Clay Township High School for several years. He also played the organ for the church service at the 4-H fair for several years. He graduated from Clay Township High School in 1952.

Ronald loved spending time with family and customers of the greenhouse. He was well known for his knowledge of his family history and knowledge of Southern Miami County. He also enjoyed making fudge and candy for family and friends as often as possible when he was able. He passed this tradition down to his daughter Suzanne and grandson Ryan.

Ronald is survived by his children, Dale (Karen) LeMaster, Kokomo, Suzanne (Scott) Amstutz, Fort Wayne and Darryl LeMaster, Bunker Hill. He has 4 grandchildren, Isaac Amstutz, Fort Wayne, Kelsey (Matthew) Amberg, Fort Wayne, Tyler LeMaster, Kokomo, and Ryan LeMaster, Bunker Hill. He has 4 great grandchildren, Calvin Amburg, Marcus Amburg, Hannah Amberg, and Kate Amberg of Fort Wayne. He is also survived by a brother Doug (Patsy) LeMaster.

Ronald is preceded in death by his parents and sister Lorna (LeMaster) Payne.

Visitation will be held at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru, IN on October 6, 2025 from 11am-1pm. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 with Pastor David Leeder officiating. Burial will take place at Clymer Cemetery, Bunker Hill.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude’s.
