Ronald was born February 25, 1932 to Ralph B. and Ethel Lett in Grandview Missouri, where he grew up. As a young boy, he enjoyed watching sports and attending major league games in Kansas City. He attended High School in Chanute, Kansas where he graduated in 1949. Ron graduated from Kansas University in Lawrence, Kansas in 1952 with a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration. Ron was an honorable man and enjoyed an active social life with many friends. He enjoyed fine dining and always enjoyed a good story. He had a hardy infectious laugh and entertaining wit. Throughout the years, he maintained a relationship with his Lord and Savior and a fellowship with the St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church in Baltimore, MD and All Saints Episcopal Church of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Ron is survived by his companion and care giver Jorge Moreno and his cousins, Gary VanHoozer and wife Janice L. VanHoozer of Buffalo, Kansas; Sherri Wiggans of Plano, TX; and Ross Perkins of Colwich, Washington; as well as several extended family members.
