Ronald Linger Obituary
He is survived by his wife, Teresa Linger, of 25 years, a daughter, Natalee Linger, 2 stepdaughters, Sarah Anderson and Kimberly Anderson, and 1 stepson, J. Christopher Anderson, (Emily). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren.
He is remembered by his sister Mary Posey (Richard), brothers Ernest Linger (Wendy), and Frederick Linger (Suzy). He is also remembered by several nieces, nephews and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Stephen E Linger, his mother, Juanita Belle Linger, and his brother, Stephen W Linger.
Ron loved family! He loved family gatherings. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, whenever possible! He enjoyed leading and participating in home Bible studies with friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on January 24, 2026 at 12 noon at Connections Community Church, 303 True Apple Way, Inwood, WV 25428. Luncheon to follow at the church.

Ronnie and I graduated from T.J. High School. We were friends and he was always the nicest person and a wonderful person. Perhaps a little known fact, Ronnie and I discussed the idea of driving in my car to the Woodstock Music Festival when we first heard about it. We thought it would be an adventure. I thought of him over the years each time Woodstock was mentioned or referred to. Rest in Peace.

I have known Ronnie for many years from high school on. I especially like seeing him when I shopped at food Lion. He always was so pleasant and that smile he had, which he always showed was unforgettable. When I left the store after talking to him I felt just a little better that day. It's funny just the other day I was thinking of him and wondering what he was doing but now I'm wondering if that wasn't him coming in my mind to say goodbye to all his old friends before he set out to do whatever he's been tasked with doing. He was one of the good guys for sure.
