Ronald Livingood Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Funeral Alternatives of Washington - Tumwater on Oct. 5, 2021.
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of "Uncle" Ron on September 25, 2021, in Olympia, Washington. He was 71 years old. Ron was born September 28, 1949, in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. He worked at McChord Air Force Base, and retired from Civil Service after 30 years.
Ron was a mechanical wizard. He loved to take things apart and see how they worked. Many of us remember something of ours being taken apart by Ron on holidays.
He was a beloved uncle, and the greatest friend to many who knew him. He could always cheer you up with his laugh, and loved adventures. His favorite pastime was spending time with family and friends. He also enjoyed travel, fast cars, ATVs, playing cards, western movies, and '50s and '60's music.
Ron joins his parents, Lester and Donna Livingood, and his brother, Charles, in heaven. He is survived by sisters, Lana, Barb, and Betty; and brother, Richard. He was blessed with numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will hold an outdoor Celebration of Life in the spring of 2022.
Ron's remains will be placed next to his parents at Masonic Memorial Park in Tumwater, Washington.

I have so many great memories of Ron. Growing up as a kid I always thought that he would be my husband. My condolences to the family. You will all be a part of my family forever. May he rest in peace.

I'm so sorry to hear of his passing. Although I lost touch with him through the years, I'll always remember him as an always friendly and giving man. Loved his laugh.
