Ronald Hugh Loeffler

Ronald H. Loeffler, age 92, of Marietta, Georgia, passed away on February 16, 2026. He was born May 16, 1933, in Cleveland, Ohio.

Ronald lived a life defined by service, hard work, and pride in doing things the right way. In the early 1950s, he served his country in the United States Air Force-an experience that shaped his character and strong sense of responsibility.

He went on to build a remarkable career in aerospace, including eight years with The Martin Company at Cape Canaveral, where he supported work connected to the Gemini and Apollo space missions. Ronald later worked for Lockheed and continued his career with E. Smith Heating and Air and other firms, earning a reputation for reliability, skill, and dedication.

After retirement, Ronald wasn't one to sit still. He took a role at Publix simply to stay busy, and in the process built another chapter of meaningful work-continuing there for 26 years. Whether at work, at home, or in everyday life, Ronald was known for showing up, pitching in, and taking
pride in what he did.

Ronald is survived by his son, Scott Loeffler, of Marietta.

Services will be held at Marietta Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, with visitation beginning at 12:00 p.m. and the service at 1:00 p.m.
