Dearest Jane and family ,
I´ve been thinking of you and was very sad to hear about the passing of Bob . I got to know Bob and Jane through a zoom class I facilitated since 2020. I´ve read about Bob´s remarkable life and in partnership with his most loving , talented and devoted wife, Jane . With all the adversity Bob has been through with regard to his illness - he still loved to laugh , exercise , had an engagingly warm and wide smile, stayed curious , worked and had a wry sense of humor - much like Jane . My deepest condolences to Jane , his children , grandkids , Liz and family , dear friends , collogues, etc . May his memory be for a blessing and may he rest in peace He´ll be sorely missed . Love , Francine Shore

My husband Roger and I were deeply saddened to learn of the death of Bob Loeffler. We first came to know Jane and Bob during the 70s when we were all school parents together in two different DC independent schools. Next, our basset hound, Champion Sir Bentley, spawned a litter of pups and the Loeffler acquired one of his offspring. And so Jane said we were related more or less.
I again was reacquainted with Bob through my tenure with the Harvard Club of Washington, DC. Bob was an exemplary volunteer and a Board Member and later donating hundreds of hours of legal expertise to the organization. His efforts were stellar and consistent through many years. Roger, Rachel and Sarah join me in extending our condolences to Jane, James and Charles. May his memory serve as a blessing.
