Obituary of Ronald M. Lowe
Ronald M. Lowe made his transition on June 19th, 2023, 4 days before his 88th birthday, in Nampa, Idaho.
Ron was born June 23, 1935 in Twin Falls, Idaho to Marion and Bessie (Todd) Lowe. He grew up in Buhl Idaho where he played and excelled in all sports. Ron met Barbara Weaver in Junior High and they married after graduating from High School. Three children were born to this marriage, Vicki, Jeffrey and Scot. The family moved to Arco, Idaho in 1965 after purchasing Crater Farms with his father-in-law Bob Weaver. Ron and Barbara divorced in 1972 and he married Lorna Culver that same year. Lorna had a daughter Tricia who became a new daughter for Ron and a much loved sister for Vicky, Jeff and Scot. In the late 80's Ron sold his share of Crater Farms and started a new enterprise named Lost River Products. They later moved to Boise, Idaho where Ron continued this new business until he retired.
Ron was a member of the Masons. He loved this brotherhood. He joined the Buhl Lodge (53) in 1965 and later was a member of the Arco, ID Lodge (48) and Capital City Lodge (93) in Boise, where he was Worshipful Master in 1999 and 2000. He served as Associate Guardian of Jobs Daughters in Arco and Boise and became Grand Guardian in 1993. His daughters Vicki and Tricia were both Honored Queens in Arco. Ron also belonged to the Lodge of Research and Idaho Historic Lodge (1863). He was a very proud member of the Amaranth and the Scottish Rite Masons.
Ron served as Sovereign of the Knights of Red Cross of Constatine in 2010. He was active in all York Rite Bodies.
One of Ron's greatest accomplishments is setting up the Ron and Ron show with Ron Scott. They would meet Tuesday evenings to work with Masons of all Lodges who wanted help with their memory work.
Ron was a 58 year Mason and he was loved and repected by all.
He is survived by his two sons Jeff (Michael Obrien) of HIllsboro, OR and Scot of Hillsboro, OR, his grandchildren Kimberly (Curt Blackburn) of Salem, OR and Bradlee (Jessica Petazk) of San Pedro, CA and Madison (Paris Little) of Beaverton, OR and three great granchildren Alexandra, Sydney and Jackson Blackburn of Salem, OR. Ron is also survived by his sister Gerldine Hyder and brother Larry Lowe (Patricia), nieces Kathy, Karen and Tricia and nephew Tracy. He was preceded in death by his wife Lorna and his two daughters Vicki (Dennis Malone) of Salem, OR and Tricia (Gary Genova) of Boise, ID.
There will be a graveside service at Morris Hill Cemetary on July 6th, 2023 at 9:00 am.
Donations may be made to the Shriner's Hospital.

Our deepest sympathy to the family of Ron. He was a wonderful person and we enjoyed knowing him. He will be sorely missed. We know he is with his loved ones and Lorna in the house of our Lord. So sorry, we couldn't make it to his Memorial at Morris Hill, but we were thinking of him and all of you. May he rest in peace and may we meet again. God Bless Always!
