Ronald William Lutze

LUTZE, Ronald W. – of Clio, age 74, died Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at Brian’s House in Davison. Funeral services will be 11 AM Friday, July 15, 2011 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio, Chaplain Jack Eagan officiating. Burial will be at Davison Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 1-8PM. Contributions may be made to Brian’s House in Davison. Ron was born March 15, 1937 in Sterling to the late Robert and Mable (Hay) Lutze. He married Adaline Lawrence on June 3, 1967 in Mt. Morris and resided in the Mt. Morris and Clio area since 1967. He retired from GMSPO in Swartz Creek in 1995 with over 40 years seniority. He was a member of the UAW Local #659 and the Flushing Moose Lodge. Ron enjoyed auto racing and working on cars at home. Surviving are: wife, Adaline; 2 step children, Gregory (Marisue) VanGilder of Clio, Paula (Dan) Kruszka of Linden; 4 grandchildren, Brian, Brent, Joel and Kimberly; 3 great grandchildren; 4 sisters, many nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by 4 brothers and a sister. The family extends a special thank you to the staff of Brian’s House for their loving care.
