Ron, avid scuba diver, mediocre golfer, SpongeBob connoisseur, competitive bowler, and beloved grandfather, was adored by everyone who met him. His love of his family and friends survives through each person he touched throughout his lifetime, a long list of people who now have his name etched onto their hearts for the rest of eternity. Gentle, kind, hilarious, and stubborn, Ron has always had a way of making time spent with him memorable. His laugh will echo in our ears and his smile is pictured in our memories, passing down our fondness of him through the next generations. Though his time on this Earth was cut short, he lives on in everything, the sea creatures he was so fond of, the wind whistling through the flags on the golf course, the thunder clapping in the sky as he bowls in Heaven, but most importantly, Ron lives on in us. Each of his close friends and family members are grateful to have been a part of his life, and to have had him in ours, changing and growing with each of us. Ron, Pa, Dad, The Golf-Father, you were, and are still, deeply loved and will forevermore be deeply missed.
We would like to thank UPMC Passavant 6 pavilion and Good Samaritan Hospice for the wonderful and dedicated care provided to Ron these past eleven months. We are forever grateful.
