Mazzocco, Ronald C., 92, Cresson, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at his home. Born January 5, 1933, son of the late George and Marie (Cheslock) Mazzocco. Ronald is also preceded by his loving wife, Lois Mazzocco, whom he married on August 18, 1956. Survived by his children, Lisa Mazzocco, Duncansville, Ronald B. (Tammy) Mazzocco, Altoona, and Lorie (Joe) DeMarco, Indian Lake; grandchildren, Lindsay Martins, Nathan Werner, Ashley DeMarco, Brad Mazzocco, Alexis Newhouse, and Brianna Mazzocco; great-grandchildren, Aiden DeMarco, Summer DeMarco, and Luca Werner; brothers, Geoffrey Mazzocco and his partner Arlene Eyer, Ray (Rita) Mazzocco, and Bryon (Judy) Mazzocco; and numerous nieces and nephews. Ronald was a proud veteran, serving in the United States Navy Reserve. He graduated from Penn State University earning his associate's degree in business. After finishing college, he worked for 44 years as a steel Salesman. Ronald was dedicated to serving the community as a member of the Knights of Columbus. In his spare time, Ronald enjoyed cheering on his favorite sports teams, the Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers. As an avid baseball fan, he also loved the history of the game, especially his favorite player, Roberto Clemente. Ronald was known as a great cook and will be remembered for his pasta and meatballs. Most of all, Ronald loved spending time with his family. Friends and family will be received Tuesday, September 23, 2025, from 5-8 p.m., Anderson Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Cresson. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at 10 a.m., St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Cresson, Rev. Leo Arnone celebrant. Committal and entombment at St. Francis Xavier Church Cemetery, Cresson. Military Honors will be provided by the Cresson American Legion, Sankertown VFW and other local military organizations. Arrangements have been entrusted to Anderson Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 233 Keystone Ave., Cresson, “Honored Provider of Veterans Funeral Care™.” Condolences may be made at AndersonFamilyFuneralHomes.com.
