Ronald J. "Ron" Mysyk

Ronald J. "Ron" Mysyk, 77, of North Ridgeville, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on December 13, 2025. He was born November 30, 1948 in Cleveland. Ron proudly served in the United States Army from 1970-1972 and he was stationed in California and Hawaii. Ron spent his life as a homebuilder and general contractor, working on hundreds of properties. Known for his strong work ethic and practical wisdom, Ron continued working until his final days. A lifelong car enthusiast, Ron also enjoyed fishing, boating and hunting. He had a genuine appreciation for life and the experiences that it offered. Though never married, he was a trusted friend, mentor, and father figure to many. He had a quick wit, he loved storytelling, and he had the ability to connect with people from all walks of life. Ron will be remembered for his intelligence, humor, generosity of spirit, and the quiet but lasting impact he had on so many lives. Ron often joked about doing things his way and requested that "My Way" by Frank Sinatra be played at his funeral, a fitting tribute to a life lived on his own terms. Ron was a devoted brother to Patricia Mysyk and Michael Mysyk. He was the beloved son of the Late Agnes and Peter Mysyk. The family will receive friends on Saturday December 27, 2025 from 3pm until the time of the Funeral Service at 7pm at the Liston Funeral Home, 36403 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Father Isidore Munishi, from St. Peter Catholic Church in North Ridgeville, will officiate the service. The burial will be on Monday December 29, 2025 at 12:15pm at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to either the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, or to Cal Farley's Boys Ranch.
