Ronald A. Nadler, a cherished man, a husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away on March 8, 2026. Born on January 25, 1939, in
Chicago, Illinois, Ron's life was a testament to the values of kindness, selflessness, and love that he embodied and that so many admired.
Ron's journey through life was marked by a strong sense of duty and service. A proud Navy Veteran, he saw the world during his time in the military, an experience that broadened his horizons and instilled in him a lifelong love for travel. After his military service, he settled into a successful career as a Buyer at ITT. Not one to sit still, Ron sought new challenges after "retirement," working at Nunda Township and Lakeside Transportation, where he formed special connections that enriched his life and the lives of those he worked with.
His family was the cornerstone of his existence. Ron's and his wife, Lucy Nadler, had a loving, blended family that included children Daniel Nadler, Christina Hitch(Nadler), Jeffrey Nadler, Carrie Pollard, Christina Lukowski, and Erin Pollard, who in turn blessed them with many grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Along with two children who were lost too young, Ron Nadler Jr and Tabitha Miller. Ron's sister, Beverly Vincent, shared in the joys and sorrows of life, creating memories that would last a lifetime.
Ron's social nature was legendary; he was known affectionately as a "social butterfly," always the last to leave any gathering. His warmth and genuine interest in others made him a beloved figure in his community, where he fostered friendships that spanned over six and a half decades. His love for socializing was matched by his passion for American history, a subject he could spend hours reading about, and which often inspired his travels.
Summers found Ron at the helm of an RV, exploring the country with his family, an adventure born from his ownership of an RV business. These journeys, across country, that he loved so much, were filled with the creation of cherished memories that his family will hold dear forever.
Ron's legacy is one of unwavering kindness, a selfless nature, and a capacity for love that knew no bounds. His impact on the lives of those around him was profound, and he leaves behind a community that will deeply miss his presence.
As we say goodbye to Ron, we celebrate the extraordinary life he led and the countless ways in which he touched our hearts. His story does not end with his passing but continues in the legacy he leaves and the memories that will be treasured by all who were fortunate enough to know him. Ron's journey through life was a beautiful illustration of how one person's love and dedication can resonate through the ages, and he will be remembered with great affection and respect.
