Ronald Nicasio

With great sorrow the family of Ronald Nicasio announces his untimely passing in Kauai, Hawaii, the island he loved so much, on November 5th, 2023 at the age of 57. Early that day, the sun was shining in Kauai, which ushered him on his way to heaven. His beloved wife Carmina was with him all the way from the waters of Kauai-a, into the ambulance and on the way to the hospital. Ronald, the eldest of 4 sons was born on June 15, 1966, to Raul Nicasio ( deceased ) and Diana Majarais Haller, in Manila Philippines. He graduated at Far Eastern University High School and went on to get his Engineering degree from Far Eastern University in Manila, Philippines. He immigrated to Canada and worked for Xerox Canada for 20 years. Upon meeting his wife Carmina, he moved to Reno, NV. He became a Real Estate Agent and worked for Coldwell Banker Select. Along with his wife Carmina, they travelled extensively to North America, Europe and Asia whenever they were given a chance to get away from their busy life. He was also a lover of cars, especially his treasured BMW. He loved to bowl and a member of a league that regularly hold tournaments and have bowled a perfect game on 4/21/21 as his ultimate crowning achievement on the sport. Above all Ronald lived his life to the fullest. His innate ability to reach out to family & friends offering a timely thoughtful word has endeared him to all. He never miss an opportunity to help out a family or a friend. His canine companions were very dear to him, most especially his dog Stella. He was devastated when she passed away, once a month Ronald would put flowers on her grave, up to the day Ron and Carmina left for Hawaii to start their vacation. Ron is survived by his wife Carmina, sons Ryan and Russell, stepsons Austin and Isaac, mother Diana, brothers Raymond ( Carla ) and Rommel ( Erica ), nephews, cousins, uncles and aunts from various parts of the globe. As the shining star of the family, Ronald will be sorely and dearly missed. He will be remembered for all the heart he shared with his family and friends. He truly loved each one of them; and if you knew him, you knew it. Funeral services will be held in Reno, Nevada on Nov 18, 2023 and a Memorial mass / Celebration of life will be held in Canada on Dec 2, 2023. Details will be announced soon.
