Ronald Raymond Painter

Ronald R. Painter, 49, of Eastlake, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2025, at his home.

Born Nov. 9, 1976, in Willoughby, Ron grew up in Willowick before moving to Eastlake 30 years ago.

Ron was the Beloved Husband of Terri (nee Hlinka) Painter; Cherished Father of Christopher, Kasey and Olivia Painter; Devoted Son of Ronald and Karen (nee Yezza) Painter; Brother of Timothy Painter (Kelly Bennett); Uncle of Zachary Painter; Son-In-Law of Bruce and Sharon Brown and Don Hlinka; Brother-In-Law of Candy Hlinka (Matt), Kevin Brown and Steven (Nichole) Brown; Ron also leaves behind many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins-too numerous to name, but whom all shared their love with each other.

Ron was as a senior diesel mechanic at Nick Mayer Ford in Wickliffe for 25 years, where he worked with a great group of guys, especially Matt and Kevin. He was an avid Cleveland Browns and Ohio State Buckeyes fan. He would do anything for his family and loved ones. Ron enjoyed watching the History Channel and cooking shows. He always had a new meal prepared for all the family events.

His love and knowledge of music was astronomical. Ron's favorite bands were AC/DC and Michael Stanley Band. He loved Harley's, Mustangs and guns. Ron loved traveling to West Virginia with his family and great friend Steve, to spend the weekend at Flat Top Lake.

Lino's in Wickliffe was Ron's "Cheers" but he also frequented Crowley's in Eastlake, to sample the monthly burger feature. Ron's love of food and sitting around a fire all night were unmatched. Spending time in the "Party Garage" was always a highlight for Ron, playing darts, cards, corn hole, FrisBeer and drinking until the sun came up.

Above all else, Ron was a loving husband and father.

Family will receive friends from 1 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 23, at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby, with a Celebration of Life Service at 6 p.m.
