Ronald "Heath" Patterson, age 51, of Englewood, Tennessee, passed away on November 24, 2025.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John Calvin Patterson, Hedda Elizabeth Patterson, James Condon Kincannon, and Donald Allen Gibson.
Heath is survived by his parents, Ronald Dean Patterson and Karen Kincannon Patterson of Englewood, Tennessee; daughters Deborah "Abigail" Patterson and Clara Patterson; sons Ronald "Clark" Patterson and William Dean Patterson; grandmother Ella Gibson; sister Candice Patterson Gonzalez (Salvador Gonzalez); nephews Daniel Gonzalez and David Gonzalez; niece Karen-Maeleigh Gonzalez; and several beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and many special musician friends.
Heath was a free spirit who lived life with passion and creativity. A gifted musician, he could play any instrument he picked up. He found peace and inspiration in nature, enjoyed working with his hands, and never refused a big cup of coffee. His love for music, family, and the outdoors will remain a cherished memory to all who knew him.
A Celebration of Heath's life will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Companion Funeral Home of Athens at 2:00 p.m., with Heath’s Uncle Randy Kincannon officiating. The family will receive guests prior to the service from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
