Ronald Bruce Peacock, 69, passed away on May 20, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family and friends. A devoted husband, proud father, cherished grandfather, and loyal friend, Ron leaves behind a legacy of service, faith, and unwavering kindness that will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Ron was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Lester and Rose Ella, son Troy, and in-laws, John and Mary Wood. Though he has left this world, his memory lives on in the hearts of those he touched. He is survived by his loving wife and best friend, Kathy, with whom he shared a lifetime of memories, strength, and unconditional love. Also surviving him are his children, Travis and Nikki, and Megan and Billy Bowman, and his devoted daughter-in-law, Julianne. His grandchildren-Will and Noah, Emma and Lucas Bowman-were the light of his life, bringing him endless joy and pride.
Ron is also lovingly remembered by his siblings, Roberta and Tim Alvis, and Richard, his in-laws, Diane and Mark Lillis, James Sr. and Sandy Wood, Margie Weller, and Junellen Wood, as well as a large circle of cousins, nieces and nephews, extended family, lifelong friends, and his church community, all of whom were blessed to know his generous heart.
Ron proudly served his country for over 30 years in theUnited States Navy as a Seabee, traveling the world and exemplifying honor, courage, and commitment. Following his military career, he continued his life of service with the Hamilton County Sheriff's Department, retiring after 25 years.
Ron's life was one marked by quiet strength, selflessness, and deep faith. He was an active member of Northwest Community Presbyterian Church, where he found great joy in helping with community outreach, church events, and fellowship. Whether camping under the stars, casting a line into a peaceful lake, or playing with his grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; Ron found happiness in life's simplest blessings.
To know Ron was to know kindness. He had a heart for people, always ready with a helping hand, a warm smile, or a gentle word of advice. His presence lit up every room, and his spirit lives on in the countless lives he encountered. He was a hero, a loving soul, and a true example of how to live with purpose and grace.
John 14:1-3:"Do not let your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions. If it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am."

A memorial service will be held at Northwest Community Presbyterian Church, 8735 Cheviot Rd.,
Cincinnati, Ohio 45251, on Saturday, May 31, with visitation beginning at 8:30 a.m. and services to follow at 10:00 a.m. Interment will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery and Mausoleum, 3819 W. 8th St.,
Cincinnati, Ohio 45205. A Celebration of Life will immediately follow at the church.
