Ronald L. Progin, 77, of Lebanon passed away Friday, July 11, 2025 at Linden Village. He was the husband of Sandra L. (Clouser) Progin to whom he was married 56 years.
Born in Lebanon, He was a son of the late Robert H. and Naomi (Lippert) Progin. He graduated from Lebanon High School in 1965. Upon graduating from R.E.T.S., he worked on F-4 Phantoms at Westinghouse Defense Center in MD. He then worked 43 years for the Hershey Company as a project manager until retirement. Some hobbies that Ron enjoyed were camping and gardening. He enjoyed watching Duke basketball and was an avid Phillies fan. Ron coached little league baseball for 12 years and enjoyed working at the voting polls. He and Sandy traveled to many National Parks across the country and his love was lighthouses. He loved attending his grandson's events, and his family came first.
In addition to his wife Sandy, he is survived by two sons Christopher Progin and wife Amanda, and Keith Progin and wife Sara; four grandsons Zachary, Alex, Nathan, and Brady; two brothers Robert Progin and wife Linda, and Richard Progin and wife Monica; two sisters Janice, wife of David Paskowski and Joanne, wife of Lester Garis. Ron was preceded in death by two infant daughters Sherry and Sarah Progin.
Memorial services will be held on Monday, July 21, 2025 at 11AM from Kreamer Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 618 E. Main St., Annville. Inurnment will be private. A visitation will be held that morning from 9AM until the time of his service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, https://www.stjude.org/ in his memory.
