Born in Pine Grove, she was a daughter of the late William and Elsie (Lengle) Loy. Millie was a homemaker and a member of Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lebanon. She was an avid gardener and reader and enjoyed word puzzles. Millie was a great cook and baker, and her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by two sons Donald Smith and wife Nancy of Cleona, and Jeffrey Smith and wife Melinda of Gunpowder, MD; seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild. Millie was preceded in death by a son Terry Smith, and six siblings William Loy, Robert Loy, Paul Loy, Esther Herring, Anna Herring, and Naomi Loy.
Memorial services will be held Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at 3PM from Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church, 119 N. 8th St. Lebanon, PA 17046. Interment will be private. There will be no viewing or visitation prior to the service at Church.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in her memory.
