Ronald H. Ramsey

December 4, 1945 - September 21, 2025

Caledonia - Ronald H. Ramsey, 79, passed away at his home on Sunday, September 21, 2025.

Ronald was born in Baraboo on December 4, 1945, to Abraham and Elaine (nee: Dumke) Ramsey. He married Mary Boyd at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Baraboo on November 7, 1964. Ronald was employed at General Electric, JI Case and Vilter. He enjoyed doing Genealogy, attending estate and rummage sales, golfing and working in his yard.

Ronald is survived by his wife Mary Ramsey, children Jill (Greg) Nichols, Kathleen (Rick) Mascarette and Joseph (Krista) Ramsey, Grandchildren Maggie (Ryan Routheaux) Nichols, Benjamin (Carissa) Nichols, Daniel Nichols, Bethany Nichols, Zoe (Ian) Scribner, Olivia Mascarette, Isabella Mascarette, Emma (Nick) Scannell, Nate (Adi) Ramsey and Abigail Ramsey, 6 great grandchildren and 1 great grandchild on the way, sister Marianne Lehmann and brother Walter (Donna) Ramsey. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Ronald was preceded in death by his daughter, Emily, and brothers, Marvin and Melvin.

A memorial Mass for Ronald will be held at St. Mary by the Lake Catholic Parish on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. Inurnment will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy. 32. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass.
