On Tuesday, August 6, 2024 Ronald was called to his home in glory. Ronald is survived by his beautiful wife, Sharon Rice Ray; his 3 loving children, Marius Rice (Jazmyne), Julea Jenkins (Carlos), and Julian Rice; his brother, Michael Ray Sr.; his niece, Chrissy Ray Smith; nephew, Michael Ray Jr.; his wonderful grandchildren, Tderyan, De'Ron, Allen, Nijaya, Christian, Gabriel, and soon to be great granddaughter, Joyah and a host of family and friends.
Ronald was a member of the Lincoln Park Community Baptist Church were he served as a Deacon. He was a member of the Male Chorus and a Usher always willing to help out where needed, sick or well. He was a willing and faithful member who truly believed in Christ. He had strong faith and knew that the Lord was always with him no matter what the situation was. He truly trusted God.
Ronald had several hobbies which included camping, fishing, traveling and the one he loved the most is barbecuing. In which he used his famous BBQ sauce. People came from far and wide to get some of it. Putting smiles on all of those who ate it.
Ronald lived his life to the fullest, He was a kind hearted caring man who gave his best to everyone. He always made time for everyone in his life, his wife, children and his family as a whole. Ronald never met a stranger. He always had kind words to say and always looked for the good in everyone he came in contact with. There was always a feeling of love when you were in his presence. He was a true definition of love.
Ronald was a husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather and friend to many. He fought a good and long fight. Now he's at rest. This isn't goodbye. We'll just say I'll see you later till we meet again. We love You now Always and forever more our amazing "Ronnie", "Papi", and "Papa".
