Michelle Joanne Cobb, 50, of Columbus, passed away at her home on February 5, 2026. She was born at St.Mary's in Columbus on March 14, 1975, a daughter of the late Karen Sue Quinn Scott and Joseph Alan Hoskins, who survives.

Michelle was a 1993 graduate of Westerville South High School and she received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from DeVry University. She had worked as a computer information specialist at Nationwide Insurance and Alkon.

Surviving is her father, Joseph Hoskins of South Webster; her significant other, Michael Edward Cobb, of Columbus; her sister, Sandy (Mark Letsche) Doherty of Portsmouth; two half-siblings, Matthew Hoskins of Pickerington, and Elizabeth Hoskins of Delaware; special aunts and uncles, Isabelle (Dr. Jerald "Mac") Hansing of Portsmouth, Peggy Bonogofsky of Rockton, IL, Mickey (Michael) Horowitz of Cave Creek, AZ, and Mark Hoskins of Wheelersburg; and special cousins, Steve Purtee of Minneola, FL, Michael Ratliff of Indianapolis, IN, Tracy Williams of Oak Hill and James Hoskins of New Boston.

A Gathering to Celebrate Michelle's Life will be held from 1 to 2 P.M. on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at the Ralph F. Scott Funeral Home in Portsmouth.
