I´ve known Ron since 1968. Our family moved directly next-door across the canal from the Richards-Bailey family home. When we were kids, Ron was the equalizer in the neighborhood with the kids. Ron was a nice guy, but he could just give the older kids a look and they´d straighten up. I had the pleasure of working with Ron professionally in placing him at Texas Instruments as an artificial intelligence Automotive Executive. Ron and I would get together and play tennis. It was a great workout. He was a superior tennis player. He would normally beat me 6 to 2. I think maybe once it was 6 to 4. We made a lot of good memories together. Rest in peace, my friend.

Sincere Blessings to the Richards family especially Justin and Travis.
As an old colleague and friend many great memories come flooding back. Ron truly lived life his way with sincere passion, commitment and joy. I will always remember when asked how he was or a situation the response being: "Outstanding" with his tilted grin. We enjoyed deep conversations, plenty filled with BS but the best was when we spoke of family. He truly loved his family.
As for the unique character he was I remember on a couples trip to Mackinaw Island when the group decided to enjoy a beverage half way around the Island as we watched the horse-drawn taxi run over his rented bike! His face plus response (you can just imagine) was priceless. That entire weekend was full of mischief and laughs. Or the time many of the same group of friends sitting on a bench early morning looking down the Champs-Elysees in Paris as Ron pulled out a raw fish sandwich...needless to say did not help with all our hangovers.
I found Ron full of life, laughter and a man without judgement.
God Bless you in your new journey old friend.....
