Ronald R. Rott, 92, of Lone Rock died on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at Greenway Manor in Spring Green. He was born on November 26, 1932, in Hillsboro the son of Adolph and Tillie (Dvorak) Rott. Ron graduated from Lone Rock High School and enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1951 and was honorably discharged in 1955. Ron was united in marriage to Avis Simonson on June 28, 1953 at the First Lutheran Church of Lone Rock. The couple farmed together for many years. Ron drove truck for Wisconsin Dairies for 23 years. Ron enjoyed collecting Case Tractors and going to tractor shows. He was a member of the Hill Country Classic Power. Ron enjoyed polka music.
Ron is survived by his wife of 72 years Avis;
Four children: Mark (Yvonne) Rott of Spring Green,
Greg (Rose) Rott of Spring Green,
Sandy Rott of Lone Rock,
Doug Rott of Lone Rock;
Daughter-in-law: Rhonda Rott of Lone Rock;
9 Grandchildren;
10 Great-grandchildren;
3 Great-great-grandchildren;
Sister: Betty Keillor of Monterey, California;
Sister-in-law: Millie Rott of Lone Rock;
Brother-in-law: Harland (Vicki) Simonson of Lone Rock;
Many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents, son Jeff Rott, and brother LeRoy Rott.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Lutheran Church, Lone Rock with burial with military rites to follow in the North Otter Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at the First Lutheran Church, Lone Rock from 9:00 AM until the time of the service at 11:00 AM. The Pratt Funeral and Cremation Service is assisting the family with their arrangements.
