Ronald Ray Scott, Jr., 67 years old, passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home on November 25, 2025. He was born on November 15, 1958, in Dallas, TX to Ronald Ray Scott, Sr. and Sarah Marie Scott.
Ronald, aka Ronny, was a Master Electrician, where he retired from General Motors in Arlington, Texas in 2021. He graduated from Dallas ISD, Sunset High School in 1976 and graduated from North Lake College in 1995.
Ronny is survived by his wife, Pamela Scott of 17 years; his mother Sarah Marie Scott; his son Jason Ray Scott and his wife Misty and their three children: Haley, Amber and Axton and his great grandchild Asher; his sister Cindy Truesdell and her husband Michael; along with his aunt Elaine Campbell and uncle Tim Campbell, several cousins and Crystal Beekman. He is preceded in death by his father Ronald Ray Scott, Sr.
He is also survived by his daughter Ashleigh Futrell and her three children: Hunter Futrell, Bayleigh Futrell and Pyper Bonneau.
A visitation will be held on December 3, 2025, at Wayne Bose Funeral Home from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. His celebration of life service will be held on December 4, 2025, at the Ellis County Cowboy Church beginning at 10:00 a.m. Flowers are welcome, however, if you would like to make a donation to the Ellis County Cowboy Church in Ronny’s honor that would be greatly appreciated.
