Ronald Slaughter Obituary
He was born on March 30, 1973, in Washington D.C. to the late Ronald O'Neal Patterson and Bernice Marie Tucker.
Ron is a 1991 graduate of E.C. Glass High School. He was a star baseball player and played for many years in various positions. During high school, he also played football, and his love for the game continued as he cheered on the Pittsburgh Steelers. He enjoyed spending time on the water, especially at the beach. He especially enjoyed spending time with his children, family and friends.
He is survived by his children: Teron Slaughter, Alexandra Herron and Torie Slaughter; his siblings: Antwoine Pennix, Kimberly Hughes, Debra Dunks, Angela Pennix, Geraldine Hughes, Marvin Slaughter, Kenneth Slaughter, Kevin Slaughter, Warren Cabler and Garlon Cabler; his grandmother: Rosie Etta Tucker; and his Special Angel, Tionne Kelly. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his siblings: Danita Slaughter, Christopher Slaughter, Reginald Slaughter, and Ronald Patterson II.
His Celebration of Life will be held at Tharp Funeral Home on Thursday, October 27, 2022, at 12:00 p.m.
Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Lynchburg, is assisting the family.
