Ronald L. Stephany Sr.

Ronald L. Stephany Sr., 85, of Avalon, died peacefully Thursday, April 21, 2022, at Orion Personal Care Residence, where he received excellent care. The husband of Nancy (Wagner) Stephany; father of Jeff (Julie), Ronald Jr. (Missy), Keith (Danella), Ken (Mary Lynn) and Kurt Stephany; grandfather of Ryan, Meghan, Brandon, Rachel, Luke, Georgie, Keaton and Teague; and brother of Shirley Hill and the late Regis Stephany, Dolores Eich, Oscar Stephany and Robert Stephany. Ron was a veteran of the Air Force. He was employed by United Airlines in Pittsburgh and later in Houston, Texas. Ron enjoyed family time and cherished his five sons, "daughters" and grandchildren. He was socially outgoing and enjoyed reminiscing about the past. Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 27, at LAWRENCE T. MILLER FUNERAL HOME INC., 460 Lincoln Ave., Bellevue. A memorial service with military honors will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 28, at Christ Our Redeemer Cemetery in the mausoleum chapel, followed immediately by a luncheon celebration at Grille 565, 565 Lincoln Ave., Bellevue.
