Ronald Stowell Obituary

In Loving Memory
We sadly announce that Ronald Stowell passed away from cancer on September 19, 2025, at age 77.
Born on May 24th, 1948 in Keene, NH, Ronald "Ron" Raymond Stowell was the son of Albert and Virginia Stowell. He grew up in Swanzey, where he developed a lifelong love for collecting coins, building and flying model airplanes, and fishing. Ron graduated from Monadnock Regional High School and went on to attend the NH Vocational Institute in the Heating and Refrigeration program. In 1968, Ron enlisted in the Air Force, where he served diligently for two decades before retiring honorably.
Ron Stowell met and married Marilyn Preston in June of 1968, and together they built a loving home filled with laughter and support. He was a devoted parent to Brian and Lori Stowell, always encouraging and inspiring them to pursue their dreams. Ron was also a proud grandfather to his two grandchildren, whom he cherished deeply. He took great joy in guiding them through life's challenges, offering words of wisdom and heartfelt advice to help them realize their own aspirations. Ron's steady encouragement and gentle guidance left a lasting impact, and his legacy lives on in the lives of his beloved grandchildren.
Ron is survived by his loving and devoted wife Marilyn, his son Brian, his daughter-in-law Tara and their two sons Evan and Ian, and his daughter Lori. He is preceded in death by his mother Virgina and father Albert, his sister Sally and his brother Steve. He will be deeply missed, but his memory will forever remain in our hearts and minds.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday September 24th at the Veterans Cemetary in Boscawen, NH at 12:00 pm.
May he rest in peace
