RONALD V. SYLVESTER

SYLVESTER, Ronald V. Died February 14, 2022, at his home, surrounded by family. Ron was born in Jamaica Plain, MA, to Joseph and Nina (Anna DeSimone) Sylvester. He graduated from Boston English High School and Franklin Institute of Technology. His career in construction spanned over 40 years and two continents, making many great memories and friends along the way. Most of his career was spent in Boston as a Superintendent managing some of the largest building projects in the city. Above everything else, Ron was a loving family man and adored his grandchildren. He loved to read and travel with his best friend, his wife Frances (Ruprecht) Sylvester. He had three children: Lisa Hatfield (Brian), Lynn Parker (Bill Kinsherf), and Joe Sylvester (Elizabeth), all of Hingham, MA. Ron was beloved Papa to his grandchildren, Sara Parker, Jillian Hatfield Dick, Matthew Hatfield, Joseph Sylvester and Billy Kinsherf. Brother to Donna Sylvester and her husband, Tony Mazzaglia, of Newburyport, and countless cousins, nieces, nephews and childhood friends. He was predeceased by his loving brother, Jon "Jay" (Mary) Sylvester. Visiting Hours, Monday, February 21, 2022, 3-7pm, at the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home, 809 Main Street, SOUTH WEYMOUTH. Services will be held on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, 10:00am, in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery, Weymouth, MA.
