Ronald Larry Thompson, affectionately known as Larry, was born on April 15, 1956, in Independence, Louisiana. He peacefully passed away on May 4, 2024, in Livingston, Louisiana. Larry, lived a life filled with joy and love that touched the hearts of many.
Throughout his life, Larry had a variety of hobbies and interests that brought him immense pleasure. He found solace in activities such as hunting and fishing, tending to his beloved tomato plants in the garden, cutting grass with precision, and most of all, cherishing moments spent with his grandchildren.
Larry is preceded in death by his loving parents Angus Thompson and Lula Mae McDonald Thompson. He leaves behind a legacy of love and memories that will be forever cherished by his surviving family and friends. Donna Thompson, his devoted wife of 36 years; Billy D. Williford, Angela Thompson, Melissa Hernandez, Rebekah Thompson, Michael Williford, Ronald Thompson - his children; A.G. Thompson, Rita Mae Wheat, Timothy Thompson, Linda Thompson, Darlene Thompson, Kenneth Thompson - his siblings; along with 14 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren mourn his loss deeply.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Visitation at Oakview Baptist Church, 27365 S. Frost Rd., Livingston, Louisiana on Thursday, May 16, 2024 from 4PM until 6PM. The Funeral Service will begin at 6PM.In remembrance of Ronald Larry Thompson's remarkable life journey filled with warmth and affection for his family and friends alike.
