Ronald Denny Wade, age 81, passed away suddenly on October 20, 2025. He was born in Bacon County on May 12, 1944, to the late Clayton Edward Wade and Sydney Jarrard Wade. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Cindy Tanner; brother, Arnold Wade and sister, Julia Harris.

He was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene and the Michigan Blueberry Association. He was a former member of the Alma Lions Club and Bacon County Rec Board. He was the owner/ operator of Ron Wade Irrigation and Wade Blueberry Nursery.

He also served the community as a barber for many years.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Martha Cothern Wade; two daughters, Amy Peavy (Joe) of Blackshear and Rhonda Kay Wade of Alma; five grandchildren, Tess Aldridge (Nick), Kali Tanner, Tony Tanner, Jr (Amy), Jacob Peavy, and Caroline Harris (Leroy); five great-grandchildren, Preslie Aldridge, Addie Reese Aldridge, Edwin Murrhee, Dallas Tanner, and Dawson Tanner; son-in-law, Tony Tanner; brothers, Donald Wade and Gerald Wade (Diane) of Forney, TX; sisters, Beulah Meadows of Alma and Eula Chancey (Billy) of Mershon.

Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home Friday, October 24, 2025, at 11 AM with Bro. Danny Turner and Bro. Dan Taylor officiating. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 9:30 AM until service time. A private family committal service will be held at Corinth FWB Church Cemetery.

Active pallbearers include Wade Chancey, Steve Crosby, Mitch Sears, Matt Meadows, Lane Wade, Shane Wade, Mark Wade, and Jeremy Wade.

Honorary pallbearers will be the Bacon County High School Class of 1962.
