Ronald Walsh Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Buxton & Bass Okeechobee Funeral Home and Crematory on Mar. 21, 2025.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ronald Brian Walsh, who departed this life at the age of 60. A devoted husband, loving father, cherished grandfather, and decorated Marine, Ronald's life was one of courage, love, and unwavering dedication to those he held dear.
Ronald proudly served in the United States Marine Corps for nine years, achieving the rank of Sergeant. His bravery and commitment to his fellow Marines were recognized with the Silver Star for valor, a testament to his courage and selflessness in the face of adversity.
Beyond his military service, Ronald was a man of great love and kindness. He was the beloved husband of Andrea Walsh (née Piazza), with whom he recently celebrated 14 wonderful years of marriage. His love for Andrea was steadfast, and together they built a life filled with laughter, adventure, and unwavering support. Ronald was also a proud and devoted father to Megan Turner (Carl Turner) and Casey Jorgenson. His greatest joy came from being "Baba" to his granddaughters, Addyson and Avery Turner, who lit up his world with their love and laughter.
A man of integrity, strength, and warmth, Ronald touched the lives of so many. He will be remembered for his unwavering love, his sense of duty, and the deep impact he made on those around him. His legacy of courage and kindness will live on in the hearts of his family and friends forever.
Ronald will be laid to rest with full military honors at a national cemetery, a fitting tribute to his dedicated service to his country. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a veterans' charity of your choice in his honor.
Though he is no longer with us, Ronald's spirit will forever remain in the lives he touched. Semper Fi.
