Ronald A. Wassilus

Ronald A. Wassilus, 69, of Sheboygan, passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at his home.
He was born on April 15, 1955 in Sheboygan, to the late Donald Anthony Sr. and Shirley Mae (Beneke) Wassilus. He attended Sheboygan area schools and graduated from Sheboygan North High School in 1973. On April 7, 1984, he was united in marriage to Cynthia L. Strebe at Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer. He was later married to Pamela Gamb.
Ron worked for Corson's Professional Cleaning for over 40 years until his retirement in 2021. Ron was an avid outdoors man enjoying hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed taking daily rides along Lake Michigan and going out to feed the goats on Garton Road, and look for deer along LS. Ron enjoyed watching comedy movies. Some of his favorites were with Adam Sandler, Chevy Chase, Mel Brooks, and Jim Carrey. Ron was a Packer, WWE wrestling and NASCAR fan, and a Budweiser enthusiast.
Family was very important to him, he loved spending time with his kids. He took them to many Packer games, on many rides along the lake and fishing and hunting trips. He was a staple at Frank's Place, formerly Smolic's. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and bluntness. Ron is going to be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his children, Amanda Wassilus and Ryan Wassilus, grandchildren, Audrina Mae Rosenberger and Beckham Martin Rosenberger, nieces, Kimberly Wassilus and Karrie (Joseph) Lawrence, and great nephews, Andrew and Isaac Lawrence.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Pamela, brother Donald and good friend Jimmy Stolzman.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, February 7, 2025 at 5:00 PM at Olson Funeral Home, 1132 Superior Ave., Sheboygan. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Friday, February 7, 2025, from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM at the FUNERAL HOME.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established in Ron's name.
