Ronald Lee Watts, age 79, husband of Betty Lou Hardin Watts, passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2026, at the Department of Veterans Affairs in Lexington, Kentucky. He was born in Lexington, Kentucky, on April 22, 1946, to the late John Watts, Sr., and Josephine Jeter Sellers. Ronald was a retired carpenter and a veteran of the United States Army. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Rhonda L. Orberson, and three granddaughters, Jodie Katherine Luckett, Mary Ellen Orberson, and Sarah Grace Orberson; a brother, James “Barbara” Watts; a niece, Jullie Watts-Baker; and two nephews, James May and Chuck May. A graveside service will be conducted on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at 1:30 PM at Camp Nelson National Cemetery with Bro. Jay Webb officiating.
