Ronald I. Weinland, 93, formerly of West Pittston, died Friday, Sept. 12, 2025. A viewing will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at Howell-Lussi Funeral Home Inc., 509 Wyoming Ave., West Pittston. A service will follow at 1 p.m.

The first shift as a cop that I ever worked was with Ronnie .it was 30 years ago but it seemed like yesterday .ronnie was a wealth of knowledge and a crack shot with his pistol .god bless him and his family and rest in peace my friend .
