He was preceded in death by his wife: Pamela Jane West; his parents Richard and Vallie Caulder West; two sisters, Phyllis Hayes and Virginia West Edwards; a brother, Richard S. West; a son, Shawn West; two grandsons, Garrison Lambert and Christopher Hunt.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory; eight sons: Ronald West, Joshua West, Gary Lambert, Joe Lambert (Wendee), Tony Chavis, and Don Lepine all of Rowland, NC; Terry Lambert (Rhonda) of Maxton, NC; and Tommy Butler of Arizona; one brother: Allen Wayne West (Jackie) of Rowland, NC; two sisters: Linda Haymore of Lumberton, NC and Catherine West of Raleigh, NC; Forty grandchildren and twenty-nine great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday, August 23, 2025 from 7-9 P.M. at Boles Funeral Home in Rowland.
The funeral will be Sunday, August 24, 2025 at 2 P.M. at Annease Drive Praise and Worship Center. Burial will follow in the West Family Cemetery.
Services entrusted to Boles Funeral Home of Rowland.
