Ronald West Obituary
Ronald proudly served in the United States Navy and later retired from Oakland Schools after many years of dedicated service. A loyal Detroit Tigers fan, he especially treasured time spent fishing with his family, creating memories that will be cherished for generations. Known for his kind heart and willingness to help others, Ronald found his greatest joy in time spent with those he loved.
He is survived by his children, Ann (Marc) Kondrad and Amy (Greg) Middleton; grandchildren, Zachary Kondrad, Maddy Middleton, Ryan Kondrad, and Brady Middleton; siblings, Danny (Julie) West and Debbie Carey; sister-in-law, Marsha West; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Michaline West; his parents, Harold and Frances West; his brother, Bob West; and his brother-in-law, Harry Carey.
Ronald's family takes comfort in knowing he is reunited with his one true love, Michaline, after time apart since her passing in 2011. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
Visitation will be held Thursday, February 5, 2026, from 3:00-8:00 p.m. at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 8459 Hall Rd., Utica. A funeral service will be held Friday, February 6, 2026, with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. and service at 11:00 a.m.
