The Funeral Services Celebrating and Honoring the Life of Ronald "Ron" Eugene Williams, 71, of Enid will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday February 12, 2019 in the Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Tom Legrand officiating with cremation to follow. Full military Honors will be presented by the United States Navy Honor Guard. Services and complete cremation care are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.
He was born March 25, 1947 in Enid, Oklahoma to Cloyde E. and Martha E. Marler Williams and passed from this life on February 10, 2019 in Enid, Oklahoma.
He was raised and educated in Enid, OK, and attended Enid High School. At the age of seventeen he enlisted in the United States Navy. He served as a Gunner's Mate during the Vietnam War on the U.S.S. De Haven. On November 1, 1980 he married Carolyn K. Acree. They were married for over thirty-eight years. He worked in the oilfield and as butcher in various butcher shops. He retired from the Vance Air Force Base Commissary Butcher Shop in 2008. He enjoyed fishing singing, collecting knives, and roosters. Most of all he loved his family.
He is survived by his wife of the home, son, Bobby and Amy Trekell, of Enid, daughter, Nikki Williams, and Zon Jones, of Enid, sister, Claudia and Ronnie Howerton, of Garber, brothers, Paul Williams, of Enid, and Duwayne and Glenna Williams of Oklahoma City, OK., grandchildren, Robin Trekell, Katie Trekell, Kelie Trekell, Nikkolas Sands, Robert Trekell, Zachary Zuniga, Jayden Sands, Kymber Trekell, Riley Zuniga, Hailey Jones, Hayden Jones, Emma Stonebarger, Hunter Stonebarger, eleven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and son Tim Trekell
