Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Ronald W. Wizimirski, 75, passed away February 11th, after he battled Sarcoma cancer. He was born in Philadelphia, Pa on January 15, 1949. He is survived by his loving wife Heather, of 24 years, Daughter Diane Reyes and Granddaughter Paisley. Stepsons Noel Osthoff and Richard Osthoff. Sisters Joyce Almaier and Janice and her husband Jack Vandegrift and their families.As a teen, Ron played the accordion and was a member of Duffy's String Band who played in the Mummers Parade in Philadelphia on New Year's Day.Ron served in the United States Air Force for 23 years as a Military Officer and earned his Master Of Science Degree with Central Michigan University.After Ron's military retirement, in June, 1990, he began his civilian life working for ILC Dover in Delaware as a Training Manager for 10 years. Ron then moved to Jackson, NJ where he worked for Medco Health Solutions in Willingboro, NJ, as Senior Manager, Training and Development for the next 10 years.Ron retired in September 2010 and moved south to warmer weather on Merritt Island, Florida. Eventually, Ron and Heather joined 4 clubs; The Moose, Elks, Eagles and recently American Legion. He spent time every Sunday evening with his good friend Larry at the Moose to play "Queen of Hearts". Also, Friday nights at the Eagles with wonderful friends. The Elk's was his go to every New Years Eve and monthly Birthday Bash.Ron Loved football and the Philadelphia Eagles! He also loved to travel and took a yearly trip to Europe or the Caribbean Islands or more exotic; Australia, Singapore, Ireland with Heather, family and friends.Ron loved his trips to Australia to meet Heather's Aussie family. He talked about the time Neville, Heather's brother, woke him at 3am to watch a live televised fight from the US by Leon Spinx. They all had beer and oysters with their breakfast at the RSL Club.Ron looked forward to his yearly reunion vacations in New Smyrna and Ormond Beach where he was joined by Lifelong friends who went to school together in Philadelphia: Denny & Rene, Joe & Gwen, Buddy & Linda, Bill & Mona.
