Ronald Garrett Womack of Marietta, Georgia met his Savior, Jesus Christ, on Tuesday, October 28, 2025. Ron was a man of unwavering faith who loved his family as Christ loved him.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 2, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Marietta Funeral Home, followed immediately by a service at 4:00 pm at the same location at 915 Piedmont Road, Marietta, Georgia 30066.

After returning from service in Korea in September of 1968, he married the love of his life, Annette, just 3 weeks later on October 19, 1968. Together they built a beautiful life and were blessed with four daughters - Melissa, Amy, Julie, and Kimberly.

In 1979, Ron and Annette joined Eastwood Baptist Church, where Ron faithfully served for 46 years in many roles including Chairman of the Deacon, Sunday School Director, Children's Church minister, Youth Counselor and many more.

Ron was known by many names such as Daddy, Papa, Poppy, Papa Ron, but the name he wore proudest was follower of Christ. He was kind and gentle and loved his family deeply and lived out his faith daily. He touched countless lives and will profoundly be missed, but there is comfort in knowing that as he entered Heaven's gate, Jesus greeted him with the words "well done my good and faithful servant."

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Vera Womack, and his siblings Donna (Jerry), Oree (Claudia), Avalene, Fay (Marion).

He is survived by his devoted wife (Annette), his daughters Melissa Adams (Kevin), Amy Riggins (Robby), Kimberly McKinlay (Ron), Julie Huffman (Cory); his grandchildren Austin Usher, Taylor Holcomb (Chad), Anzleigh Brumley (Jaron), Emily Huffman (Ian), Tyler Womack (Abby), Gunner McKinlay, Cody and Avie McKinlay, Jasmine Howard, Brandon Riggins, Harper and Braeden Kirby and Brian Riggins; great grandchildren Garrett, Drayton, Kenzie, Aspen, Bella, Elijah, Kya, Eli and many nieces and nephews.

Marietta Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mr. Ronald Garrett Womack.
