Ronda Lewis Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Walnut Lawn Funeral Home - Springfield on Apr. 22, 2025.
Ronda Jean (Warren) Lewis aka "Beautiful" was 60 years old and born on March 5, 1965 to Robert L. Warren and Frances M. (Williams) Warren, in Springfield, Mo. She is preceded in death by both parents, grandparents; Samuel and Audrey Warren, Carl and Ida Williams, her sister Coetta Warren; and her three brothers Louis, Gregory, and Ronnie Warren.
Ronda graduated in 1983 from Hillcrest High School in Springfield, MO. She then moved to Clinton and Kansas City, MO for a few years, where she had her first child. She then returned to Springfield, MO where she had her other two children. In her early adult years she worked at Sweetheart Cup for 6 years until she was diagnosed with kidney failure at the young age of 30. She didn't let her disability stop her. Later on, in her adult years she still worked part time at Wyndham Hotels and Resorts, until she was no longer able to work.
Ronda enjoyed just the simple things in life and always kept a smile on her face, no matter what she went through. She had the heart of gold and lended a helping hand to all that was in need of her. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy, as well as her kids. She loved them and her husband of 40 years more than anything in the world.
She enjoyed reading books, doing puzzles, word searches and playing games on her phone. She loved sports, especially her Kansas City Chiefs, and she especially loved elephants.
Ronda peacefully passed away at her home in Heaven in the early morning of Monday, April 14, 2025, surrounded by her loving family at Mercy Hospital in Springfield MO.
She leaves to cherish her memories; her husband of 40 years, Jeffrey M. Lewis; her three children, Jeffrey S. (Amber) Lewis, of Ozark, MO, Justin Warren of Spfld, MO, and her only daughter and best friend, Jaira Warren (Leporta Betts Sr.) of Spfld MO; her brother Tyrone (Leila) Warren of Texas; brother-in-law, David (Kandi) Graham of Raymour, MO; sister-in-laws, Tonya Potts of Sedalia, MO, Renai (Shamar) Anderson of Florida, Jamichia (Barry) Howard of Ozark, MO, Angela Graham (Frank Miller) of Blue Springs, MO; she had 16 grandchildren; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, cousins and friends.
Ronda touched many lives when she was here on this Earth and will always be remembered. She was truly one of God's strongest soldiers and an angel on Earth. She will be deeply missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing her.
