RONDA NEIDER Obituary Ronda Baron Neider passed away at 60 on October 27th, 2024 from a long, but strong fight from pancreatic cancer surrounded by her family in her home in Eagleville, PA. Ronda was the loving wife to Tom Neider of 38 years and mother to Ben and Eve. She loved the dogs she had: Skylar, Parker, and Walter and the late Nellie, Duke, Duchess, and Barnaby.
She was born on July 24, 1964, in Bridgeport, Connecticut to the late Robert and Dolores (Kornfield) Baron. She grew up in Scranton, PA and graduated from Scranton Central High School in 1982. She graduated from Penn State University in 1986 with a B.A. in Advertising. She was a little sister in Alpha Kappa Lambda Fraternity where she met her husband, Tom and her good friends Kathy and Bill Rote. Ronda and Tom moved to Lansing, Michigan and Cleveland, Ohio after college. They found their home in Eagleville, PA and were fortunate to have amazing neighbors that became good friends.
Ronda is famous for the many jobs she has had, but her favorite was staying home with her kids. She was a homeroom mom at Woodland Elementary, where she formed her "Pink Lady" group with the other moms and would always come up with creative, fun activities for the class. She was on the board for home and school at Skyview Upper Elementary school and loved volunteering at any school event. When Eve was in middle school, Ronda became a preschool assistant teacher at Methacton Mennonite and later St. Andrews Nursery school until her diagnosis. She always enjoyed working with the kids and coming home with stories! Every other week, she would go to Giant and load up leftover bread and desserts and deliver it to those in need.
Rondas friends were like family, when she wasnt working at the preschool or napping, she was always out to lunch or dinner with friends or talking on the phone with them for hours. She loved popcorn, murder shows and podcasts, and birds. She was a great artist and loved looking and buying art. Her favorite activity was watching TV with her family and snuggling with her beagles on the couch. Ronda was a great writer and liked to write haikus and poetry. Her happy place was the beach, where she loved picking shells and reading a book. The beach held fond memories of bringing her parents and playing games where we would be hunched over laughing.
Ronda was a charismatic woman who loved and cared for people at her fullest. She had an amazing sense of humor and could make anyone laugh. She was always there to lend a hand or there to listen. Rhonda was the best wife, mother and friend. Her memory will live on forever.
