Ronnie Lee Allen, age 81, of Oak Hill, Ohio passed away after a long illness at Buckeye Forest in Jackson. He was born August 17, 1944, in Wellston, Ohio to the late Ark and Viola (Deal) Allen.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Janet (Buckley) Allen; children, Ronnie “Ron” (Lori) Allen, of Oak Hill, Ohio, Melinda (Brian) McFann, of Jackson, Ohio, Mary (Brett) Lewis, of Oak Hill, Ohio; grandchildren: Jessica Glancy, Michelle Allen, Brittney McFann, Isabella McFann, Brian McFann Jr., Rachel (Craig) Stiltner, and Andrea Lewis; great- grandchildren:, Hailee Allen and Bronwynn Stiltner. Also surviving are his two brothers, John Allen, of Florida, and Larry (Joyce) Allen, of Columbus, Ohio; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by 15 brothers and sisters, his mother and father-in-law, Walter Edward and Alwilda Audrey Buckley.
Ronnie worked and retired from Goodyear after 27 years in 1998. Together, Ronnie and Janet enjoyed their car rides through the country.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 21, 2025, from 1-3 PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home in Oak Hill. Funeral services will immediately follow at 3PM with Pastor Stan Howard officiating. Burial will follow in C.M. Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com.
