Ronnie 'Ron' DeWaters

DeWATERS, Ronnie 'Ron' - age 64, of Linden, died Saturday, September 23, 2006 at his residence. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, September 28, 2006 at Linden Free Methodist Church, 13274 Linden Rd., Linden with Pastor Jim Thompson officiating. Interment will be held 1:30 PM Friday, September 29, 2006 at Deepdale Memorial Park, Lansing. Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-9 PM Wednesday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. Visitation will also be held from 12 PM until the time of service Thursday at the church. Those desiring may make memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Ron was born April 2, 1942 in Lansing, the son of Elmer L. and Vivian (McLellan) DeWaters. He married Judy Roth on July 1, 1961. Ron was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was employed as the I.T. System Administrator for Budco and was a member of Linden Free Methodist Church. Surviving are: wife, Judy of Linden; son, Ronald DeWaters and wife, Robin of King George, VA; daughter, Robin and husband, Kevin Wolanin of Byron; five grandchildren, Collin DeWaters, Jamie, Lauren, Danielle and Kylee Wolanin; three brothers, Harold, Michael and wife, Kathy, Owen and wife, Cindy; mother-in-law, Elizabeth Roth; brother-in-law, David Roth.
