MEMORIAL SERVICE: 10:30 A.M. Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Western Star Cowboy Church, 790 CO Rd 3696, Springtown, TX 76082.
Evelyn was born Wednesday, February 27, 1957 to the late William and Billie Jo Knight in Bakersfield, California. She proudly served her country by enlisting in the US Army. She was a member of the Gunrunners Shooting Sports for many years. Evelyn was a self-publishing poet with poems she had written. She loved reading, cooking, horseback riding, organizing charity functions, volunteering with Light House Food Bank and Backpack Buddies. She loved to go to garage sales and finding unique things. She made every outing fun and exciting with lots of laughs. Evelyn was a loving mother to Obie as well as being a loving wife to Brian and will be deeply missed.
Evelyn is preceded in death by her parents; and father in law, Cecil Edgett.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Brian Edgett; son, Obie Walton; mother in law, Glenda Edgett; brother in law, Darren Edgett and wife, Madline; brother in law, Clint Edgett and wife, Racey; numerous nieces and nephews; many church family members and friends near and far.
