Ronnie Grace Obituary

Visit the Kirkley-Ruddick Funeral Home, P.A. - Glen Burnie website to view the full obituary.

Ronnie Charles Grace, 79, Glen Burnie resident, died unexpectedly on Saturday morning, October 4, 2025. Ronnie was born in Detroit, Michigan, on Tuesday, March 19, 1946, to Cadumus "Paul" L. Grace and Mollie (Mendelson) Grace. In 1964, he graduated from Grosse Pointe High School in Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan, and enlisted in the United States Navy. After serving for his country in Vietnam and receiving an honorable discharge and medals, he was transferred to the Naval Reserves in Bainbridge, Maryland. Ronnie then went to the Baltimore City Police Department and served our city for over 28 years as a policeman. After his retirement from walking the beat, he decided to apply at the Department of Transportation, where he worked 10+ years, retiring from there as Lieutenant Grace. But Ronnie didn't stop there, he continued to serve the public with the US Marshals, where he was a court security officer. He finally really retired in 2013. After his retirement, it gave him more time to enjoy his family and friends.  Ronnie was a Chevy Guy who loved his pickup trucks, his animals (that were NEVER coming in the house, lol) and most of all, his family. He was loved by so many and always had a joke to be told.  His dedication to serving the public and the love he had for his family, will be greatly missed by so many.

Ronnie is preceded by his parents, Cadumus Y. Grace and Mollie (Mendelson) Grace. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Carol L. (Whisenant) Grace of Glen Burnie; his children, Mandy Konig (Eric) of Ellicott City, Michael Nathan Golinski of Glen Burnie, and Bryan Joseph Golinski (Fiance Alli) of Pasadena; his sister Judy Whitaker (Nolen) of Melbourne Beach, Florida; his grandchildren, Ryan Konig, Natalie Hoffman and Megan Konig and his great grandchildren, Douglas, Ryder, Scarlett, Ava and Ronald.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate his life during a viewing on Monday, October 20,2025 at Kirkley Ruddick Funeral Home from 3:00pm-5:00pm and 7:00pm-9:00pm. A funeral service will take place on October 21, 2025 at 11:00am at the same location in Glen Burnie, Maryland. Interment immediately following at Crownsville MD Veterans Cemetery.
