Ronnie Greenfield, 66, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2024.
He was born on January 21, 1958 in Louisville, Kentucky to late Donald and June (Shuck) Greenfield. He is also preceded in death by his daughter, Adina Marie Greenfield and sister, Melissa Greenfield.
He was a 1976 graduate of Atherton High School. Ronnie dedicated his career in the restaurant industry, working early on at Western Sizzlen for 10 years. Ronnie was the manager at Rumors in Middletown, his 34 years of dedication to Rumors made him one of the cornerstones of their success. Every patron knew him knew how hard he worked and how friendly of a person he was. Ronnie worked shoulder to shoulder with every employee and he would not ask you to do something he had not already done himself.
Ronnie is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Theresa Greenfield, children, Matti Jo Greenfield, Sam Greenfield, two grandsons, Destin Greenfield, Wesley Greenfield and one great-granddaughter, Gracie Greenfield. He is also survived by siblings, Mary Jo Linker (Larry) and Donna Doerr (Billy).
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until the time of the memorial service at 5:00 pm on Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at Northeast Christian Church (9900 Brownsboro Rd, Louisville, KY 40241).
The family requests that contributions in Ronnie’s memory be made to the American Lung Association (10168 Linn Station Rd, Louisville, KY 40223).
