Ronald Jones Obituary

Ronald "Ronnie" Don Jones, of Farmington, Mo., went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, Jan. 11, 2026, at the age of 74.

Ronnie was born on Oct. 22, 1951, in Heber Springs, Ark., the son of the late Donald and Dennie (Pickens) Jones. He retired from Ammonia Pipeline after many years of dedicated service. Ronnie proudly served his country in the United States National Guard and was a 32nd Degree Mason of the Scottish Rite.

Ronnie loved life and enjoyed hunting and fishing with friends, woodworking, watching football and beekeeping. Above all else, he had a strong faith in God. The most important part of his life was his family – whom he cherished deeply. He especially adored his wife, children and grandchildren. Known as a prankster and jokester, Ronnie brought laughter wherever he went. He was truly loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Ronnie is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Mary Beth (Riechman) Jones; his son, Jason (Audra) Jones; his daughter, Kelli (Jeremy Palmer) Jones; his six grandchildren, Zachary, Gracen, Talyn, Cooper, Avy and Lincoln; and his loyal canine companion, Hooch.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Bob Jones and Steve Jones; his sister, Denise Tucker; and his daughter, Melanie Kempfer.

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, Jan. 17, 2026, from 11:30 a.m. until the time of service at 12:30 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Delassus, 4086 2nd St., Farmington, Mo., officiated by pastor Jerry Richey.
