Ronnie Kiser Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary - Maynardville on Apr. 16, 2024.
Ronnie Kiser-age 69 of Sharps Chapel, hometown of Millstone, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at home, Wednesday, April 10, 2024. Ronnie's trade was in the coal mines of Kentucky where he spent many long hours and extra days providing for his family. He worked in the mines for nearly 40 years before retiring to his Norris Lake home. He wore many hats throughout these years, some of which exposed his talent for engineering, creativity and intelligence. Ronnie was an electrician and repairman for the mine where he worked underground and or above ground outside in the shop. This is where his inventions were born when he built/made tools and items to help him complete these repairs and keep the coal running smoothly. He also acquired skills and certifications as a foreman, electrician, air conditions/refrigeration repairman and was properly skilled in construction and business affairs. Ronnie was the owner and operator of R&J Construction for many years. This venture provided him the opportunity to master the ability to utilize many varying types of heavy equipment to complete any task put before him. Among all these accomplishments his most important roles were being a faithful husband, loving dad and caring granddad. His love for his family endures without limits, eternally and unconditionally. He is preceded in death by his son, Jamie Lee Kiser; father, James Blaine Kiser; mother, Nellie Johnson Kiser; sister, Ramona Kiser.
He is survived by his wife, Delana Kay Kiser; daughter, Jessica Kiser Mason and her husband, Christopher Scott; sisters, Rena Begley and husband Wayne, Rosetta Yeary; grandchildren, Makayla Shae Mason, Bryce Aiden Mason, Dylan James Kiser, Devin Michael Kiser; good friend, Jeffrey Begley and many other family members and close friends.
The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Friday, April 12, 2024, with the funeral service to follow at 7 p.m. at Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Tommy Begley officiating. Interment 1:00 pm Saturday April 13, 2024, at Pleasant View Cemetery, Maynardville. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home 12:00 p.m. Saturday to go in the procession. Pallbearers: Christopher Scott Mason, Dylan James Kiser, Tyler Begley, Todd Begley, Jeffrey Begley. Honorary Pallbearer, Bryce Aiden Mason. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
