Ronnie Lawlis Obituary

Ronnie Lee Lawlis died on Friday, February 17, 2023, at the age of 78.



Ron grew up in Trent, Texas. After graduation, he moved to Lubbock, Texas, and became a Red Raider. He graduated from Texas Tech University with a business degree. He joined the Navy and was honorably discharged. Over the course of his career, he held various leadership titles and retired as owner of a local mortgage company.



After retirement, Ron was able to spend his time with his family and friends. He enjoyed Saturday morning breakfast with his family, watching weekend sports, cheering on his grandchildren, and hosting card nights for his friends.



Ron is survived by his daughters, Daisha and Summer, his sons-in-law Brian Davis and Steve Lopez, and his beloved grandchildren, Aubrey, Cason, and Sadie.



He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Faye and W.T., and brothers, Robert "Bob" and Delvin Lawlis.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at the funeral home chapel. He will be laid to rest at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery.



In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations to Senior Access in Round Rock, Texas.
