Ronnie DelRoy Locklear, 42 of Fayetteville, NC, passed away on Friday, May 23, 2025.
Born April 11, 1983, in Cumberland County, DelRoy was the son of Ronnie Cardell Locklear and Deborah Ann Locklear of Fayetteville, NC.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Roy Bryant, Sr. and Cardell Locklear, both of Fayetteville, NC.
In addition to his father and mother, DelRoy is survived by his brother, Travis Lee Locklear of the home; his grandmothers, Geraldine G. Bryant of Fayetteville and Rose Marie Lockear of Georgia; and a host of other family and friends.
DelRoy was known for his big warm smile that would light up his hazel eyes. He often put others before himself. Any true friend knew he had a big heart, and if you were fortunate enough to become a true friend, you knew he loved you dearly. Being a true friend also included loving his dogs, Lexie, Diamond, and most recently Sadie (whom he shared with his brother). He was an avid Carolina Tar Heels fan and enjoyed golfing, racing, horseshoes, and corn toss in his spare time.
DelRoy will be greatly missed and forever cherished by everyone who knew and loved him.
